Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) on October 26, felicitated 2018 Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) successful candidates of the Chakhesang community in a program held at Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima Jubilee Hall, Kitsubozou.
Gracing the occasion as guest speaker, Kiihiipoyo Puro, former chairman, NPSC, applauded the commission for fair conduct of the examinations.
He challenged the successful candidates to create a harmonious atmosphere wherever they may be posted.
Puro also asked them to prioritize their services for the welfare of the Nagas.
Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) president, Kekhwengulo Lea, exhorted the successful candidates to be ambassadors of honesty, sincerity, dedication and simplicity in any department they serve.
Lea called upon them to serve the Naga community by exhibiting true Chakhesang qualities to their counterparts.
Earlier, a welcome address was delivered by CSU president Lavoto Chizo.
