CTAN, NNQF seek subject-wise breakup of asst. prof posts

DIMAPUR, AUG 18 (NPN)

Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) and Nagaland Net Qualified Forum (NNQF) have reiterated their demand for subject-wise distribution of the 34 requisitioned assistant professor posts and the seven sets/categories of the 129 newly created posts.
In a representation addressed to the chief secretary, CTAN and NNQF reminded that the Higher Education Directorate had earlier declined to meet the organisations on the High Power Committee report and details of the requisition process.
Following this, CTAN and NNQF said they had held a press conference on July 17, 2025, urging the authorities to make public and provide clarity on the 34 requisitioned posts and the seven categories within the 129 newly created posts as mentioned in the notification dated July 2, 2025.
Further, the organisations appealed to the state government to requisition the 129 posts to NPSC at the earliest after clearance from the Finance and P&AR departments to ensure a fair and transparent recruitment process.
CTAN and NNQF once again reiterated their request for the information to be made public at the earliest.
