CTAN objects to cancelling NSEE 2020

Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) has objected to the cancellation of Nagaland State Entrance Examination (NSEE) 2020 and demanded that the state government nullify the August 4, 2020 notification, which declared list of candidates provisionally selected by Common Selection Board for undergoing studies in various undergraduate courses in para medical, agri. & allied courses during the session 2020-21.

The association CTAN through its media cell asserted that equal opportunity must be given to all applicants for open competition and not by some committee.

It stated that majority of the applicants had been attending coaching classes preparing for NSEE.

Further, CTAN said that many students did not continue with their B.Sc in 2019 hoping that they would get a good professional course to study through NSEE 2020. The association said that the technical department was answerable to those deprived students, who were not even given a chance to complete.

Further, CTAN demanded that the department issue clarification “without creating further confusion”.
