CTSU warns school on bullying incident

DIMAPUR, JUN 1 (NPN)

Taking serious note of a disturbing video that went viral on social media showing a group of girl students allegedly bullying another minor student, the Chümoukedima Town Students’ Union (CTSU) has issued a stern warning to the school authorities, demanding that the perpetrators be identified and their details submitted to the union.
In a press note, Zakieto Shüya and general secretary Zakiemelie Medoze pointed out that in the video, the victim was seen having her hair pulled and being subjected to humiliation, including the use of foul language.
It further noted that a student, while in school uniform, was also seen exerting physical violence against the victim.
“There will be no leniency for such behavior,” Chümoukedima Town Students’ Union stated, and asked the school to initiate appropriate disciplinary action against those responsible.
The union assured the public that it will closely monitor the situation and expected full cooperation from the school authorities.
