Chümoukedima Timber Traders’ Association (CTTA) has lauded the Forest department for suspension of operation at three forest check gates- Pfutsero, Peducha and Chümoukedima.
Chümoukedima Timber Traders’ Association president Balie Angami, while appreciating the department for taking a major step, said it would benefit not only the timber traders but also public for all round development.
Chümoukedima Timber Traders’ Association also appreciated the efforts of the Nagaland Timber Traders Association (NTTU) led by its president Kevise Sogotsu in the fight against illegal collection of tax at check gates. The association reaffirmed to support and cooperate with Nagaland Timber Traders Association for the welfare of timber traders in the state.
