Chedema Village Students’ Union (CVSU) held its biennial general conference on December 19 at Malo-o Indoor Stadium, Chedema with Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhutso (Ato), MLA, as guest speaker. A press release by CVSU stated that in his speech, Dr. Ato recalled his earlier school days and the hardships, and encouraged the students to achieve their goals despite the odds.
He reminded that not everyone could be employed by the government and advised the students to venture into different fields.
While gifting a power tiller to CVSU, Dr. Ato challenged the students to practice cultivation of organic vegetables and fruits.
The programme was chaired by CVSU assistant general secretary, Viketouzo Keyho, welcome address was delivered by CVSU president, Keneibou Keyho, general secretary report was presented by Neisezolie Thevo, and vote of thanks by CVSU vice president, Rokobeituo Tsira.
