CWC conducts training for farmers

Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), Dimapur, has organized a two day farmers training on post harvest technology on January 28 and 29 wherein a total of 45 local farmers attended the training.
The training was inaugurated by Chuba Ozukum, chairman Lake View Colony, Dimapur, in the presence of Mrs S Ao, Warehouse Manager, Dimapur, and R Borah, general manager of Central Warehousing Corporation, Guwahati, Regional Office.
R Kikon, Agriculture Officer, DAO Dimapur, PK Behara, Manager (QC), FCI Dimapur, and R Borah, general manager Central Warehousing Corporation, have delivered lecture on different topics in respect of post harvest techonology, rodent problem, use of insecticides and on Warehousing Development and Regulation Act 2007.
The valedictory function was attended by Goanbura, Meren Jamir of Lake View Colony wherein he thanked the Central Warehousing Corporation for arranging such training programme in Dimapur.
He also requested the officials of Central Warehousing Corporation to organize such programme in different areas of Nagaland in future. One storage bin was presented to every participating farmers.
