Cyclist on awareness mission reaches Dimapur

Founder of Oxihunger Foundation and member of Marwari Yuva Manch (MYM) Nagaur branch, Pappu Ram Choudhary, arrived in Dimapur on March 30 during his nationwide bicycle journey.
According to Public Relations Officer Ankush Garg, Choudhary began his journey on April 25, 2023, from Nagaur, carrying the Tricolour along with the MYM slogan “Yuva Shakti, Rashtra Shakti.” His mission is to promote environmental conservation, youth empowerment, and social awareness.
Covering approximately 41,000 km across 26 States and 6 Union Territories, Choudhary has planted around 32,500 saplings and inspired youth across regions. Despite facing hardships in diverse climates, his efforts have been appreciated by administrative authorities in several states. His ultimate goal is to complete the nationwide cycling journey and eventually scale Mount Everest.
On his arrival, MYM Dimapur Shikhar branch honoured him with a ceremonial stole and certificate of recognition. Members also interacted with him over dinner to learn more about his mission. From Dimapur, he will proceed to Golaghat on Friday to continue his journey.
The programme was attended by MYM Dimapur Shikhar branch president Jaykumar Agarwal, vice president Ujjwal Bajaj, treasurer Rohan Tongya, PRO Ankush Garg, founder president Rakesh Kochhar, executive members Rishikesh Sharma and Vikram Parik, along with several youth members.
