The Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) has, in the strongest terms, condemned the barbaric murder of Nesato Swuro, son of K. Khwüyi Swuro, hailing from Chesezu village, on April 29 afternoon at D. Block Kohima, by Neilalie Louchü of Zhadima village (BA II student), Kikruorietuo Venyo of Thuvopisu village (unemployed), Thepfünilhou Theünuo of Seiyhama village (Peon Nagaland Secretariat) and John Chettri of Nepal (driver).
In a condemnation note issued by CYF president, Lhuvesayi Lohe and general secretary, Medovelo Sono, the CYF said it was shocked that the gruesome murder was carried out in broad day light within the vicinity of Kohima town by their own Naga brethren for no reason. “Existence of such inhuman being in our society had raised insecurity from our own brethrens in our own land,” said CYF.
The organization strongly urged law enforcing authorities to book the perpetrators and accord them the highest degree of punishment as per the law. It also warned against granting them bail under any circumstances. It stated that CYF will be compelled to take its own course of action if the law enforcers fail to give befitting punishment to the criminals.
The CYF has appealed to all right thinking citizens to condemn the heinous crime. It further stated that it mourns with the loved ones and village community of late Nesato Swuro at this time of grief and sorrow and conveyed its deepest condolence.
