Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dimapur, Dr. Maotemjen inaugurated the Darogapathar village new sub-centre on December 10.
In a press release, Darogapathar Village Council (DVC) informed that during the programme, Dr. Moatemjen oriented gathering on various services provided at the sub-centre level and appreciated the community of Darogapathar for continuous support rendered towards the health department. The CMO also urged them to donate sufficient land for construction of sub-centre building and for any future development.
He talked on the COVID-19 pandemic across the country and advised the people to be prepared for the third wave by ensuring that the members of the community were vaccinated.
Dr. Moatemjen urged them to continue following the COVID appropriate behavior especially during the festive season.
Meanwhile, DVC chairman, K. Ado Bizo while chairing the programme informed about the efforts and contribution made by the community to establish the health centre in Darogapathar.
Later, Nukmen Baptist Church pastor, Kilang Longkumer said the dedicatory prayer.
