Association of Kohima Municipal Wards Panchayat (AKMWP) informed that Kohima witnessed peaceful and continued complete compliance to the total lockdown on the fifth day in Kohima. While no disturbances or untoward incidents were reported from any of the wards, informed a press release from AKMWP president Neibulie Kiewhuo.
With more cases of COVID-19 outside the QCs being detected and reports of COVID-19 hospitals being saturated cropping up in social media, the AKMWP urged the citizens not to panic but to display a cooperative attitude and to extend all possible assistance to the patients, frontline warriors so as to emerge stronger and safer.
AKMWP also reiterated the importance of precautionary measures which everyone needed to follow to remain safe and also ensure the safety of others.
