Don Bosco Higher Secondary School (DBHSS), Mon organised its first two-day annual concert on September 29 and 30. The performances were a delightful amalgamation of duets, melodious songs, captivating drama centred around the theme, “The Choice is Yours”, mesmerizing dances and soul-stirring instrumental renditions. The audience was graced by the presence of prominent dignitaries, alumni and the loving parents of the students.
On the evening of September 29, Director of Mon School of Music, Chinglang Konyak, graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his impassioned addressKonyak calling it a home coming to his alma mater, stressed the importance of nurturing students’ careers and instilling a strong sense of civic responsibility. Principal of DBHSS, Rev. Fr. Adani Mathew Pfoze SDB, extended a warm traditional welcome to the distinguished chief guests.
He articulated his vision, stating “our aim is to provide a platform that nurtures the burgeoning talents of our young students, allowing their unique creativity to shine”. The event on September 30, president of ANPSA, Mon-unit, Huong Daniel graced the event as the chief guest. He was grateful to Don Bosco, Mon where he studied and urged the students to aspire to lofty dreams and prioritize their faith in God. The grand event concluded with heartfelt expressions of gratitude by Easter and Nokba leaving an indelible mark of joy and inspiration on all who attended.
