DIMAPUR, AUG 16 (NPN): The Don Bosco Sports Academy (DBSA), in collaboration with the Dimapur District Basketball Association (DDBA), has announced the 2nd edition of the Autumn Basketball Tournament, scheduled to be held from October 15–17, 2026 at the Don Bosco Indoor Stadium, Dimapur.
The tournament, open to high school and higher secondary school students across Nagaland, aims to foster sportsmanship, teamwork and identify young talents for future state-level performances. Organizers highlighted that this year’s edition promises greater competition as the newly completed Don Bosco Indoor Stadium will host its first-ever basketball tournament.
Teams from different districts are expected to participate, showcasing their skills and talents. Beyond competition, the event is envisioned as an opportunity for young players to discipline themselves, build teamwork, and realize their potential. Schools are encouraged to promote their sports programmes by enabling students to take part in this professionally organized tournament.
