DBSU holds second general meeting

Dimapur Bengali Students’ Union (DBSU) on Sunday held its second general meeting at the premises of Shamrock School, Signal Bosti, Dimapur.
Speaking on the occasion, chief advisor of Dimapur Bengali Students’ Union  and president of Dimapur Bengali Samaj, KK Paul, stressed on the need of character formation and asked the students to put their education before anything else. 
He asked the students to remember their roots wherever in the world they may go and also asked them to get involved in sports and other activities.
Advisor, Bishnu Bhattacharjee, who also is the president of Naga People’s Front (NPF) minority wing, asked the students to maintain their calm in times of despair and not try to solve anything through the means of violence but be involved in activities that would contribute towards social building.
Dimapur Bengali Students’ Union  president, Shubam Nath in his speech maintained that the union was formed to unite the Bengali students in Dimapur and work for the betterment of the Bengali students in particular and the student community in general.
Advisors, Jewel Acharjee and Sanjay Dey also spoke on the occasion.
