Deputy Commissioner (DC) Chümoukedima, Abhinav Shivam, reviewed the Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCDNER) phase-4 under Chümoukedima district on May 27 at his office chamber.
A press release by the office of District Agriculture Officer (DAO) Chümoukedima informed that DC Chümoukedima, who is also the chairman of district level monitoring committee MOVCDNER Chümoukedima, reviewed the activities carried out by the service provider in collaboration with the office of the DAO Chümoukedima.
During the meeting, Shivam encouraged the service provider to work competently for the welfare of the farmers in the district. He further requested the service provider to complete the assigned duties on time so that the farmers would gain maximum benefit from the scheme.
Earlier, the service provider and team leader of Green Hills Research and Development highlighted the activities of the ongoing MOVCDNER scheme in Chümoukedima district. The members present at the review meeting were DAO Chümoukedima, Bodevi Shuya and Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer (SDAO) Chümoukedima, Kevin Solo.
