DC Dimapur informs on four lane compensation

All the landowners and beneficiaries of the villages affected by the proposed Dimapur bypass four lane road from Chumukedima/Patkai Bridge to Khushiabill village have been informed that phase-III payment of compensation for land building and other items would be paid at the office of the deputy commissioner (DC), Dimapur on August 18, 2016.
In a public notice, DC Dimapur, Kesonyu Yhome, said compensation amount for Chumukedima town, Block-I (plot No 2 to Plot No. 21) would be paid from 9am to 12:30pm and beneficiaries who were yet to collect compensation from the first and second instalments would be paid from 1pm to 2pm.
In this regard, DC has directed the concerned affected landowners/beneficiaries to come in person to collect their respective cheques.
Head GBs/chairmen/convenor and members of the concerned village/ward councils have also been informed to be physically present for identification of the landowners and beneficiaries during disbursal of cheques of their respective village, failing which payment would be withheld.
Mandatory documents required to be furnished by the beneficiaries include ID proof, Bank passbook, five passport photos, original land documents (Jamabandi/patta passbook etc.).
The deputy commissioner (DC) Dimapur informed that said the National Highways and Infrastructure development corporation Limited (NHIDCL) sanctioned the third instalment of the compensation amount for payment of land, building and other items to the affected landowners vide F.No.NHIDCL/Nagaland/Dimapur bypass/2015 dated August 2, 2016.
