DC Dimapur orders sealing of LIC branch

 In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, deputy commissioner (DC) & chairman DDMA Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan has ordered the sealing of LIC Dimapur branch for 48 hours from the date of issue of this order.

DC in an order informed that necessary sanitisation of the premises would be done by the management during the sealed period.

Further, DC has informed that any person violating these containment measures would be penalised as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under IPC Section 188.
