In connection with the land acquisition for construction of new BG Railway line from Dhansiri (Dimapur) to Zubza (Kohima) from Ch. 18.30 km to 21.7 km and 25.05 km to 38.35 km, the affected landowners from Chumoukedima, New Chumoukedima, Kupuhe, Molvom, Ruzaphema, Socunoma, Moava, Zuikhu and Khaibung have been informed to attend a meeting with the Dimapur district administration and NFR officials on January 19, 2017 at 10am in the town hall at Medziphema town to discuss the rate for land compensation.
In a circular, the deputy commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Kesonyu Yhome, has directed the village functionaries from the affected villages to inform all affected landowners from their respective villages and come prepared for the meeting.
