Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi has stressed on the need and importance of wearing mask, hand washing and maintaining physical distancing as the only option for fighting coronavirus.
According to DIPR report, the DC said this while addressing the participants on the concluding day of a two-day training programme held for community leaders. The training aimed at equipping them with skills and knowledge on how to protect themselves and the community from COVID-19, organised by CISHR in collaboration with Dimapur district administration and DMC Dimapur at Lotha Hoho Ki and Commissioner Taxes conference hall.
He addressed the participants in both the locations on July 10. The DC encouraged all the participants by reminding them that they were representatives from their community and advised them to replicate whatever they learned during the training in their own community.
He also stressed on helping each other by monitoring whether the other person was complying with the preventive measures and practices.
DC also welcomed and thanked CIHSR and everyone for coming to the training session.
