DC Kiphire inaugurates bypass road

DIMAPUR

Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer, inaugurated the Bypass Road at Kiphire village on July 24 at 16 KM (Kohima Road) as the special guest.
Speaking at the event, Longkumer said the road would serve as an important lifeline for both Kiphire village and Kiphire town. He thanked the Kiphire Village Council and GBs for initiating and funding the road construction through council resources.
He stressed the need for side drains to preserve the road and assured that he would consult with line departments to extend support. Longkumer also encouraged the public to take ownership of development work and not rely solely on the government.
A monolith commemorating the road inauguration was unveiled by the DC. He was accompanied by ADC Kiphire, Longdiba L. Sangtam, and other officials. The programme was chaired by Rezila. This was stated in a DIPR report.
