The Shalom Children’s Home Kiphire, new Boy’s Home was inaugurated on March 12, 2025 by Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer.
During the program, the special guest highlighted the operations of Shalom Children’s Home in Kiphire District and urged community members to step forward and support children in need of care and protection.
Earlier, the programme began with an invocation by pastor Chopongkiu and a house blessing by Rev. Fr. Philip Magh, DCPO Kiphire, Khaikho Lam, delivered a brief speech explaining how Shalom Home (NGO) operates under the JJ Act guidelines of the Ministry of Women and Child Development and vote of thanks was proposed by proprietor, Shalom Children’s Home, Tsusu Mary.
