Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Rovilato Mor, Wednesday inaugurated South Point Terminal (Taxi Counter) at Khuzama Village near police check gate.
According to DIPR report, in a simple junction held at the new site, Rovilato called upon the village leaders and ANTA members to play important roles and responsibilities in maintaining and running the booth. He also advised the organizing committee to submit a representation addressed to the regional transport officer, so that the department would issue/give proper guidelines and regulations. The DC also said that through this project villagers would generate more income provided proper developments like hotels, proper toilets, rest houses, waiting sheds are taken up. He then termed Khuzama village as the village gate of the State. The programme was chaired by Vimeziho, President KYO, Vizosul, president KMC. Special songs were presented by Tsaholw group and short speech was delivered by ADC planning & Co-ordination, Ketoho Luho.
