Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie has informed that the returnees entering Kohima district from outside the state should mandatorily get themselves tested for COVID-19 infection as per the various SOPs/guidelines/directives of the government from time to time.
In this connection, the under-mentioned Army/Paramilitary units/sectors/HQs have been directed to ensure that compulsory testing of all the returnee personnel are carried out as per standard, medical advisory/procedure.
The Army/Paramilitary units/sectors/HQs are to co-ordinate with the Chief Medical Officer, Kohima to train their respective Medical Officer(s) in order to expedite the process of testing. Action taken on this matter should be officially intimated to this office in writing for further necessary action.
