DC Kohima calls coordination meet ahead of 79th Independence Day

DIMAPUR

Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, has convened a coordination meeting on July 28, 2 PM at the DC’s Conference Hall, Kohima. The meeting aims to finalize plans regarding the visitation of Homes and Institutions by various NGOs as part of the upcoming 79th Independence Day celebration on August 15, 2025. According to DIPR report, the initiative is part of broader efforts to foster community engagement and mark the national occasion with inclusive outreach activities.
Presidents of the following organizations are requested to participate: Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union, Puliebadze Club, Lions Club, Royal Club, Classic Club, Rotary Club, Gorkha Public Panchayat Kohima, Hindu Kalyan Samithi Kohima, Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland State Branch, Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Kohima Masjid Committee, and Nagaland Motorcycle Club.
