DC Kohima informs army, paramilitary units

Deputy commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie has informed that all the returnees entering Kohima district from outside the state should mandatorily get themselves tested for COVID-19 infection as per the various SOPs/guidelines/directives of the government from time to time. According to DIPR report, the under-mentioned army/paramilitary units/sectors/HQs are hereby directed to ensure that compulsory testing of all the returnee personnel are carried out as per standard medical advisory/procedure: The 3rd Assam Rifle, Kohima; The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Chedema Kohima; The 14th Assam Rifle, Chieswema Kohima; The 5th Assam Rifle Sector, Chieswema Kohima; The Border Security Force (BSF), Chedema Kohima; The Border Roads Organization (BRO), Sechu Zubza Kohima. The army/paramilitary units/sectors/HQs are to co-ordinate with the chief medical officer, Kohima to train their respective medical officer(s) inorder to expedite the process of testing. Action taken on this matter should be officially intimated to this office in writing for further necessary action.
