DC Kohima informs on nominations for PMRBP 2025

Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, has informed that, in accordance with a directive from the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India, nominations have been invited for the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2025. The award recognizes the exceptional achievements of children under 18 years of age (as of July 31 2025) in six categories: Bravery, Social Service, Environment, Sports, Art & Culture, and Science & Technology.
According to DIPR report, Deputy Commissioner has urged all district departments to make special efforts to identify and nominate deserving children, particularly from marginalized sections such as SC/ST communities, girls, and divyang persons, whose achievements are worthy of national recognition.
For coordination and inquiries related to the nominations process, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) HQ, Kohima, Rorheu Peseyie, (9774416796) has been designated as the Nodal Officer for PMRBP.
