DC Kohima informs public

Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, W Honje Konyak, has informed that the construction of pucca drainage along the National Highway 29/02 is being taken up by the Border Roads Organization (BRO) in and around Kohima town. It was decided in the co-ordination meeting held on January 13 that the drainage lines need to be corrected wherever necessary, particularly at Mohonkhola area.
In the process of correction/ rectification of unruly constructions of footpaths, steps, varandahs etc, the DC informed that those that are encroaching towards the roads should be removed. The correction works has been scheduled to commence with effect from January 18 by the Special Task Force to be headed by the district administration.
The DC has, therefore, requested all the concerned to bear the inconveniences and at the same time extend their fullest co-operation to the executing team.
In a separate statement, Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, W Honje Konyak, has informed all individuals who have applied for the post of LDA/ DB in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, to collect their admit cards from January 19 onwards. Applications who have not submitted (2) two passport photographs are requested to do so. Examination fee of Rs 200 for LDA post and Rs 100 for Dobashi post would be released at the time of issuing admit card.
The DC further informed that no applicant would be allowed to appear for the exam without admit card.
