DC Kohima issues directives for I-Day celebration

DIMAPUR: The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima has informed all Heads of Departments (HoDs) to collect invitation cards and car passes for the Independence Day Celebration 2026 from the Establishment Branch of the DC’s Office, Kohima.
According to a press release issued by Deputy Commissioner Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, the invitation cards and car passes will be available for collection from August 13, 2026, during office hours.
In a separate order, the DC directed all Heads of Offices under Kohima district and Gaon Buras under Kohima Sadar (Urban and Rural) to compulsorily attend the Independence Day celebration on August 15, 2026, at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza, Kohima.
