Deputy commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie has informed that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at Daklane Colony Kohima, municipal ward -7 and Kezieke Colony Kohima, municipal ward -3, the areas defined below are demarcated as Containment Zone in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing. According to DIPR report, all movement of person/vehicles within the defined Containment Zones/areas are strictly restricted/prohibited and under active surveillance.

AQC declared as Containment Zone
DC Mokokchung has declared Amukloshi quarantine centre (AQC), FazI Ali College campus, Chuchuyimpang as Containment Zone in view of one person having been confirmed COVID-19 positive, from among the returnees at Amukloshi quarantine centre. DC Mokokchung informed that this was in accordance to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland with immediate effect.
