DC Kohima issues traffic advisory

DIMAPUR, FEB 26 (NPN):

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kohima B. Henok Buchem has issued traffic advisory for public information at Kohima, in view of the ongoing peaceful democratic protest organized by the Nagaland Government Teachers’ Association (NGTA 2010 & 2013) at the Directorate of School Education, Bayavu.
One way traffic regulation: Vehicles will be allowed entry from Census Point Jn.-Central Baptist Church Jn.-NBCC office/Hotel Legacy then exit from approach road to High School Jn.
No parking from Census Point Jn. to Central Baptist Church Jn. from 9am to 4pm. The DC cautioned that cars parked indiscriminately, will be towed at the expense of the vehicle owner and the district authorities will not be responsible for damages caused during towing.
The district administration has also advised participants of the protest to car pool or use public transport to reach the venue to ease traffic congestion.
