DC Kohima leads clearing of landslide debris

DIMAPUR

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, along with his team, carried out clearing works at Bayavü Colony, below the Directorate of School Education, following a landslide on Saturday.
According to DIPR report, DC thanked Kohima Municipal Council for providing a JCB and dumper; advisor Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome for a dumper; Ward-2 Councillor Avilie Rio for another dumper and working lunch; and PWD (Mechanical) for additional equipment support.
He also acknowledged the Bayavü Colony Youth, led by the Colony President, and Kohima SDRF for manpower assistance; Kohima DDMA for logistics support; Power Department (Kohima Division) for cooperation; and SDO (Civil) Sadar, James Renbi Kikon, for leading the operations. The coordinated effort ensured timely clearance and restoration of the affected stretch.
