In supersession of DC’s office notification dated August 17, 2023, and in view of the objections received from various tribal hohos and other organizations, the updation exercise of the non-Naga local indigenous Nepali/Gorkha of Kohima district has been kept in abeyance till clarity from the government on the further course of action to be taken by this office is received. This was stated in a notification issued by DC Kohima.
