In continuation of the Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Kohima decision, the Deputy Commissioner & chairman RTA Kohima, Shanavas C has issued an order reiterating that “Unauthorised Parking Slots” reserved by private parties and shops/business establishments along the roadside within Kohima Municipal area will be strictly prohibited.
The order also stated that failure to comply with the order will invite a penalty under Section 268 of the Indian Penal Code, DIPR report stated.
