DC Longleng inaugurates NRB at Sakshi

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Longleng, Dharam Raj inaugurated the Nagaland Rural Bank (NRB) Sakshi Branch Longleng and flagged off the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) van on January 30.


According to a DIPR report, speaking on the occasion, the DC highlighted the importance of banks and the impact on daily life and called upon the people to fully utilise the facilities available.


Raj also asserted that the public and banks must coexist for the upliftment of the society. During the programme, welcome address was delivered by Sakshi Association president, Esham Phom; folk song was presented by Yimchong Women; a message from NRB chairman, V. Venkata Narayan was screened; and vote of thanks was delivered by NRB Sakshi branch manager, Nilopu Zhimomi. The programme was attended by government officials and other.
