In view of the road maintenance between Changtongya and Dikhu bridge on Changtongya-Longleng road, the deputy commissioner (DC) Longleng, Dharam Raj, has notified that the movement of all kinds of vehicles including light motor vehicles along that route would remain restricted from 6pm to 6am daily with effect from August 1, 2023, till further notice.
DC has, therefore, advised all the travellers to avoid taking the said route and to take an alternative route—Longleng-Chingtongyak (IR Camp)-Netnyu-Merangkong—during the period of restriction.
