DC Mkg honours ntl child awardee

Katibenla was awarded a certificate, medal along with cash award of Rupees fifty thousand in recognition as Best Creative Child on December 3, 2015 on World Disability Day at New Delhi. Katibenla is from Mokokchung and her outstanding performance as best creative child has brought laurel to her district and Nagaland state at the national level.
In recognition of her noble works, the district administration Mokokchung is determined to provide all needed support to Katibenla, whose dream and challenges are to work by herself in the future. The district administration is hopeful that she would overcome all obstacles and win over by being able to stand on her feet.
Katibenla (Locomotors) is a member of Disable People Organisation, Khensa under CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) for people with disability programme implemented by Care and Support Society Mokokchung. She sings and recites poems and she has also released her video CD album “Ku Salang”.
