Induction programme of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir as the president of Bharat Scouts & Guides (BS&G) Mokokchung district was held in DC’s office chamber on February 26 in the presence of BS&G state & district officials.
According to DIPR report, the DC while interacting with the officials extended his full co-operation and expressed his desire to fulfill the principles and duties as the president of BS&G, Mokokchung district.
Meanwhile, officials from the state headquarters office of Nagaland BS&G led by state organising commissioner (scouts), John Tochimong welcomed him to the family of scouts & guides.
He also highlighted some of the activities of BS&G and briefed him on free being me (FBM) programme being held at Queen Marry Higher Secondary School, Mokokchung.
It may be noted that this programme is an action on body confident for scouts & guides which is a project undertaken by WAGGGS in association with Dove esteem project to boost self-confidence of children and registration of online individual membership to be a par with digitisation.
