Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mon and vice chairman District Planning and Development Board (DPDB), Ajit Kumar Verma expressed concern on the deteriorating road conditions in Mon Town and urged the responsible department to repair the road.
According to a DIPR report, DC Mon had an “open discussion” on the condition of the road at the Mon DPDB monthly meeting at the Conference Hall of DC Mon office, Tuesday, and requested the concerned department to at least repair the road before the ensuing monsoon.
DC also spoke on the responsibility of the Officers’ Club of Mon and encouraged the new members to join the club. He also highlighted the visit of VVIPs in the district.
Verma also welcomed the members and introduced the new members to the house.
At the meeting, the principal of Wangkhao Government College gave a brief description of the college- the only government college in Mon District.
