DC Niuland directs villages to remain alert

DIMAPUR, JUL 22 (NPN)

In view of the ongoing eviction drive undertaken by Assam government against the illegal immigrants, the Niuland district administration has directed all the villages in the district not to panic but remain vigilant and alert for influx of illegal immigrants in the district. In an order, DC Niuland Sara S Jamir informed the villages to immediately reported to district administration any unusual movement and migration in respective jurisdiction. It may be mentioned that office of the Commissioner, Nagaland on July 21 directed all DCs to step up surveillance and initiate preventive measures along vulnerable entry points.
