
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Noklak, Hiazu Meru on Wednesday inaugurated OPD centre at sub-centre, High School ‘B’ sector, Noklak town.
According to DIPR report, speaking on the occasion, DC Hiazu Meru stated that the sub-centre which has been constructed will be used as OPD centre for citizens of Noklak. The DC hoped that the OPD centre would serve the people in a better way in the health sector. The DC mentioned that during the District Task Force on COVID-19 meeting, the DTF has decided to start OPD centre at High School B’ sector for more health facilities at Noklak. The DC said that despite the functioning of Community Health Centre (CHC) Noklak and while observing that patients are reluctant to get treatment at CHC, Noklak after it has been designated as COVID-19 Hospital and it has become necessary for making this alternative arrangement.
DC expressed his sincere appreciation to the senior medical officer, Dr. Victor NC and the staff of CHC Noklak for their willingness to serve in this new OPD centre. DC also requested all medical staff specially nurses to serve sincerely in the service of the people. The programme was chaired by senior medical officer, CHC Noklak, Dr. Victor NC and short speech was delivered by GB Noklak town, Pushong.
The OPD centre was dedicated by Longdon Baptist Church, Noklak Town, pastor A. Penglang.
