DIMAPUR: District Administration Noklak has issued a notice requesting all Heads of Department and Heads of Office under Noklak district to extend assistance in the conduct of Census 2027.
According to the administration, the House Listing Operation and Housing Census is currently in progress and scheduled to conclude on July 30, 2026, while the second phase-Population Enumeration-will be conducted in February 2027.
The district administration stated that the census is the largest statistical exercise undertaken by the government and will provide vital data for planning, policy formulation and development across all sectors.
In this regard, the administration urged all HoDs under Noklak district to extend full support and cooperation to ensure the successful conduct of Census 2027.
Departments were directed to issue necessary instructions to their employees to ensure enumeration at their usual place of residence in accordance with census guidelines.
For government employees, enumeration should be carried out at their ordinary place of posting, including government buildings, residential quarters, offices and other structures owned by or under the custody of their department, duly covered during the house listing operation.
