DC notifies on additionalILP guidelines for Dimapur

DIMAPUR, JUN 27 (NPN)

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, has issued a notification outlining additional guidelines for the issuance of Inner Line Permit (ILP) in Dimapur district.
According to the notification, ID card of a Central or State Government employee will suffice for the issuance of ILP for their family members and dependents. Heads of duly registered public or private companies can stand as guarantors for their regular employees seeking ILP.
Further, it said that employer-issued certifications may also be accepted as guarantor proof for ILP issuance, provided that the certification is duly supported by the landlord or house owner. Individuals travelling through Dimapur as transit passengers are exempted from the requirement of possessing an ILP.
Under the floating population category, daily wage labourers in Dimapur district will be eligible to apply for ILP through offline mode, subject to guarantor– either a landlord, house owner, company/firms.
