In view of the surge of COVID-19 cases within the country as well as in Nuiland district, DC Nuiland, Sara S Jamir has issued advisory and has asked public to follow preventive and precautionary measures against the spread of COVID-19 within the district. In a press release, DC Nuiland has encouraged public to get vaccinate with COVID-19 vaccine and booster dose from the CHC, Nuiland since the district has low percentage of COVID-19 vaccination.
The DC has informed that all social, cultural, sports, political, religious, entertainment, academic functions and all other kinds of public gatherings are to observe COVID-19 appropriate behaviour. All shop owners under Nuiland district have been directed to arrange facilities for hand sanitization at the shop premises. The DC has informed that wearing of face masks would be compulsory in public places and markets.
