DC Tuensang issue travel advisory

In view of the blockage of National Highway 202 at km 59.900 by landslides, the deputy commissioner (DC) Tuensang, A. Zibenthung Kithan, has notified that the road between Yangli and Mangaki would be closed for restoration till further orders.


In a travel advisory, the deputy commissioner Tuensang has advised the travellers from Tuensang to Kohima to take the Tuensang-Yangli-Zunhebuto-Kohima route and travellers (Light Motor Vehicle) Mokokchung to take the Tuensang-Longleng-Changtongya-Mokokchung route and vice versa.
DC Tuensang has restricted the movement of heavy vehicles along the Tuensang-Longleng road.
