In view of the announcement of by-election to parliamentary constituency by the Election Commission of India (ECI), Deputy Commissioner & District election officer (DC & DEO) Wokha, Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon has constituted the following members as the District Level Standing Committee (DLSC) for operation of model code of conduct in Wokha district.
The committee members were: Deputy Commissioner & Assistant Returning Officer Wokha, Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon as chairman; SP Wokha, Bharat Laxman as member; representative of all registered national and states political parties as members; DPRO, Stephen Ngullie as member; and EAC & MCC nodal officer, Vejoyo Swuro as member secretary.
