To allow uninterrupted road repair and maintenance work at NH-2 Wokha/Mokokchung road and other portion of Wokha-Chukitong two-lane road, the deputy commissioner (DC) Wokha Ajit Kumar Ranjan, has informed that all forms of vehicular movement from Tsungiki 2nd Bazaar to Doyang Bridge (Mokokchung road) would remain suspended from 7pm to 7am starting July 10-16, 2022.
During the restricted period, medium and light vehicles plying towards Wokha/Kohima from Mokokchung side have been advised to take the diversion road from Alichen-Mamongtong-Sungro-Doyang-Wokha and those plying towards VK-Mokokchung from Kohima/Dimapur have been advised to take the diversion road from “O” Point Wokha-Doyang-Sungro-Mamongtong-Alichen.
DC Zbto issues travel advisory: Due to ongoing landslide at Longsa village under Mokokchung district interrupting vehicular movement along Longsa-Suruhuto-Aghunato road, the deputy commissioner (DC) Zunheboto has advised for all forms of light, medium and heavy vehicles bound for Suruhuto and Aghunato to take alternative routes.
In an advisory, the additional deputy commissioner Zunheboto Moakumzuk Tzudir stated that all vehicles bound for Suruhuto to take diversion via Akuluto-Kitsakita-Suruhuto and all vehicles bound for Aghunato to take diversion via Akuluto-Zunheboto-Aghunato.
The travel advisory has been issued with immediate effect till further order.
