DC Zunheboto reiterates ban on single use plastics

DIMAPUR: Deputy Commissioner and chairman of the District Task Force, Dharam Raj, has reiterated the ban on the use of single use plastic (SUP) carry bags across Zunheboto district, irrespective of their micron thickness.
In an order issued in continuation of the earlier office order dated August 1, 2024, the DC stated that the ban on all single use plastic carry bags and single use plastic bottles used for packaging water and soft drinks below one litre will continue to remain in force throughout the district.
