The launching programme for Diploma in Computer Application (DCA), under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme, in collaboration with the Kohima district administration and District Hub for Empowerment of Women, Kohima, was held on October 13 at DPDB Hall, DC Office Kohima.
The program was launched for the first batch, where 40 students have been sponsored for course in DCA.
A press statement from EAC Kohima, Nodal Officer, Mission Shakti Moasunep K. Jingru, informed that at the launching programme Deputy Commissioner Kohima Shanavas C, stressed on the significance of the computer course in today’s digital world. He urged the applicants to focus on learning and not just obtaining a certificate.
Managing Director of Pioneer Institute Kiviboto Shequi, while highlighting on the DCA course’s importance, mentioned about Pioneer Institute’s partnership with NEILIT Kohima and informed the applicants to opt for additional certificate course offered by NEILIT. He also offered additional 10 students free DCA course under BBBP scheme as part of Pioneer philanthropic work.
