Dimapur District Autorickshaw Drivers Union (DDADU) branch office was inaugurated at 5th and 6th Mile, Unity Village, May 26 by its president K Hokaito Zhimomi. The branch office would be maintained by DDADU vice president Akato Chopi.
In a press release, DADDU stated that its president requested the autorickshaw drivers to render quality service to the public and especially to the student community and the physically challenged. DDADU president also urged the drivers to hand over any articles of the passengers found in their autorickshaws to the union office or branch offices.
