Dimapur District Auto-rickshaw Drivers’ Union (DDADU) has reminded the auto-rickshaw owners not to handover their auto-rickshaw to a driver who does not possess proper documents.
In a press release, DDADU president, I. Vitoshe Sema, has informed drivers to wear union uniforms and carry union identity cards while driving.
DDADU has cautioned that the union would be conducting surprise checking and stern action would be taken against both the defaulting auto-rickshaw owner and driver.
